Quiznos robberies suspect described
Police are looking for a suspect in the armed robberies of two Quiznos sandwich shops in north Spokane on Saturday night.
The man was described as white, between 5-foot-7 and 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, a dark bandanna over his face and green camouflage pants, according to the Spokane Police Department.
The restaurants were both robbed at gunpoint Saturday night. The first robbery occurred at 7:40 p.m., when the suspect pointed a silver handgun at an employee and demanded money from the till. The victim was so traumatized, police said, that he could not comply and the robber fled.
The same suspect robbed a Quiznos at 6125 N. Division 30 minutes later, holding employees at gunpoint and fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
