Get your Green drinks on Tuesday

Down To Earth NW Staff
Down To Earth NW and Sustainable September Spokane are inviting the community to the September Green Drinks Tuesday, Sept. 8 Green Drinks is a monthly community networking event, where people get together to socialize, eat and drink and talk about any topic they want. The September event runs from 5:30-9 p.m. at Sante, at 404 W. Main in downtown Spokane. Admission is free, and Sante will be providing food and drink specials all evening. Greendrinks is an international program with events taking place in more than 300 cities. Each city has its own coordinators that organize each month’s program, location and sponsors. Though environmental topics are always encouraged, visitors are welcome to discuss any subject. Both of the event co-hosts will also be sharing information about both groups, telling about upcoming programs and sharing how to get involved. People can also enter to win a variety of door prizes. The event is also a chance to get a sneak peek at the fall issue of Down To Earth NW magazine, which is available Saturday, Sept. 12.
