Officials working on street standards

The city of Spokane Valley will work on new street standards at a meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at City Hall. A headline in Monday’s Getting There column incorrectly identified the project because of a copy editor’s error.

End of runway may be raised 5 feet

Planned work at the Spokane International Airport in 2011 will raise the northeast end of the main runway by as much as 5 feet. A story in Friday’s Business section included an incorrect height.
