Prosecutor’s name wrong
Bill Thompson is the Latah County prosecutor. His name was incorrect in Wednesday’s Northwest section because of a reporter’s error.
Man’s state of sobriety misstated
A 24-year-old man who accidently shot a 19-year-old Chattaroy man on Saturday told investigators he’d consumed three beers that day, but authorities do not believe he was drunk. Because of a reporter’s error, an article Wednesday incorrectly described the man’s state of sobriety.
