Fire District 9 plans open houses

FIVE MILE – Spokane County Fire District 9 will have an open house at Fire Station 95, 3028 W. Strong Road, on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.

Attendees will have an opportunity to tour the station and meet the firefighters of Station 95. Kids can also get their picture taken in a fire truck and say hello to Smokey Bear.

On Wednesday, the fire district will have an open house, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Fire Station 94, 7017 N. Jensen Road off of Bigelow Gulch Road.

The community can tour the station, enjoy a hot dog and cookie and meet the firefighters. Kids can also get their picture taken in a fire truck and say hello to Smokey Bear.
