Three named to SVP board

The board of directors of Spokane Valley Partners elected three new members during its Dec. 17 meeting.

Former Spokane Valley Mayor Richard Munson was elected to the board. He is a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel and a retired stockbroker.

Nancy Nelson, president of Humanix, was also elected.

The third new member of the board is Darla Sowl, Liberty Lake branch manager of Spokane Teachers Credit Union. Sowl has lived in Spokane Valley for more than 20 years.

The three replace outgoing members Allen Peterson, Margaret Patterson and Edward Budinsky.

They join Ann Miller, president; Dick Denenny, vice president; Bob Jayne, past president; Anne Martin, secretary; Rhonda Willey, treasurer; and members Taylor Demars, Jared Jones, Gail Kogle, Peggy Rudolph and Denise Swinney.
