‘Be Peace’ will be topic of talk at Spiritual Living

The Center for Spiritual Living, 2825 E. 33rd Ave., will discuss Thich Nhat Hahn, the founder of Engaged Buddhism, Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

The event will discuss how to “Be Peace” in daily life.

Youth theater onstage with ‘Oz’

Christian Youth Theater-Spokane, will present the “Wizard of Oz,” Friday, Saturday, March 5 and 6 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 6 and 7 at 3 p.m. at the Bing Crosby Theater, 901 W. Sprague Ave.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $9 for children and seniors, $8 on Saturday during its discount matinee performance, or $8 per person for groups of 10 or more.

Lenten supper

Central Baptist Church, 19 W. Shannon Ave., will offer Lenten soup suppers Wednesdays during Lent from 6 to 7 p.m. There will be suppers Wednesday, March 10 and March 17.

A special speaker will deliver a short message each evening.
