Perry fair has religious events

As part of the South Perry Street Parade and Fair, there will be an interdenominational service in Grant Park at Ninth Avenue and Perry Street on Sunday at 10 a.m.

More street fair activities:

The Spokane Buddhist Temple, 927 S. Perry St., will present an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Minister assistant Christine Marr will be available to answer questions about the temple.

Carillon concert

The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 127 E. 12th Ave., will present a labyrinth walk accompanied by the carillon Sunday between 7 and 8 p.m.

Vacation Bible schools

Southside Christian Church, 2934 E. 27th Ave., will present “Imagine That,” a vacation Bible school, Monday through July 22 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Children in kindergarten through the eighth grade are invited to attend.

Orchard Christian Fellowship will offer “The Jonah Adventure,” Tuesday through July 23 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Liberty Park, 502 S. Pittsburg St., by the picnic shelter.

Kids in kindergarten through the sixth grade are invited to attend. There will be games, Bible stories, puppets, live music and more.

Movie night

The Center for Spiritual Living, 2825 E. 33rd Ave., will present the movie “Oh My God” Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

The movie follows director Peter Rodger as he travels to 23 countries asking the question, “What is God?”
