Kennedy to speak at Spokane fundraiser
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will speak at Gonzaga University on May 20 as a fundraiser for Waterkeeper Alliance programs.
Kennedy, an activist and environmental attorney, helped found the alliance in 1999 to get citizens involved in Clean Water Act enforcement. His 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. talk at the Martin Centre is a fundraiser for the Spokane Riverkeeper and the Lake Pend Oreille Waterkeeper programs.
Tickets are $5 for students and $15 for adults. More information will be available at www.spokane riverkeeper.org.
