Two critically injured in rollover crash

The Spokesman-Review
Two people are in critical condition after a rollover accident this afternoon in Spokane Valley that authorities said was caused by equipment failure. Both were ejected; Washington State Patrol said neither were wearing a seat belt. Deborah A. McKinney, 48, was driving westbound about noon on Trent Avenue toward Pines Road when the rear of the vehicle detached, including axle, rolling the 1991 Ford Explorer, according to a press release. McKinney and passenger Timothy L. Stearns, 45, were transported to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center.
