Kennedy postpones Spokane visit

Robert F. Kennedy will be speaking in Spokane and Sandpoint May 20-21.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has canceled three appearances in the Spokane area later this week. Kennedy planned to speak at Gonzaga University and attend a private reception Thursday, plus a breakfast meeting in Sandpoint Friday. Tim Connor from The Lands Council made the announcement Wednesday, saying that Kennedy requested to postpone the visit to deal with a private family matter. Connor said the events will be rescheduled, and details on where and when will be made available as soon as possible. The events were organized by the Spokane Riverkeeper and Lake Pend Oreille Waterkeeper projects.
