PJALS will mark 35 years

The Peace and Justice Action League of Spokane will celebrate 35 years on Friday at Mountain Gear’s corporate offices, 6021 E. Mansfield Ave., with a benefit auction from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
The group, known for opposing war and violence, supporting equal rights for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people, and organizing for police accountability, is dedicated to building the foundations of a just and nonviolent world.
Cost is $5 per person or bring a potluck item to the event.
