What: Fourth annual comic book and pop culture convention with guest artists and writers (including John Layman of “Chew”), costume contest, gaming, panels and more (for full schedule, see www.spokane comicon.com).

When: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Spokane Community College, Student Center Lair-Building 6, 1810 N. Greene St.

Cost: $5 ($4 with canned food donation), free/age 10 and younger with paid adult
