Fairfield City Council – The new security cameras have been installed in the park. Preparations are underway for the 100th Flag Day celebration. A work group will meet in Thiel Park on May 29 to paint the slide and gazebo. The Bank of Fairfield will bring an ATM in for the celebration. (Source: Town clerk Cheryl Loeffler)

Rockford City Council – A Boy Scout discussed his Eagle Scout project to build flower boxes in front of City Hall. New public works employee John Goyke was introduced. A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the new water reservoir. The project will go out to bid in July and construction should begin in August. The council voted to add a renewal of the six-year EMS levy to the August ballot. (Source: Town clerk Darlene LaShaw)
