In brief: Arbor Crest hosting fundraiser

PASADENA PARK – Arbor Crest Wine Cellars on Fruit Hill Road will host “The Pour,” a fundraiser for Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children’s Hospital, at 6 p.m. June 5.

The event will include an auction of vintage wines by local winemakers and a five-course gourmet meal prepared by local chefs.

Tickets are $150 per person.

Disc golf course meeting tonight

PEACEFUL VALLEY – A public meeting on providing two disc golf courses on Spokane park land will be held tonight from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Peaceful Valley Community Center, 214 N. Cedar St.

The Spokane Disc Golf Association has been working with the city parks department on providing the courses to residents and visitors.
