Kootenai County sheriff

Richard Gunderson, Worley, reported Friday the $500 theft of a chain saw and stereo from his home on the 13000 block of West Sunmeadow Road.

David MacDonald, employee of Summit Equipment Inc., reported Friday the $1,709 theft of cash when unauthorized transactions were made to the business account.

Julie Volpi, Athol, reported Friday the $2,101 theft of household items and $275 damage to a door and window of a home on the 30000 block of North Caravelle Road in Athol.

Steven D. Smith, Otis Orchards, reported Sunday the $1,800 theft of jewelry from his boat at a slip at Bayview Marina, 34040 N. Lakeside Ave.
