Rotary donates $2,000 to police

COEUR D’ALENE – The Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club recently granted the Coeur d’Alene Police Department $2,000 to help with much needed upgrades.

The grant will pay for electrical upgrades to the Police and Fire Public Safety Building located in Coeur d’Alene City Park, along with a new bike rack, which will be built by the North Idaho College Natural Resource Class.

In 2009, the Rotary donated $1,000 to the Coeur d’Alene Police Department’s volunteer program. The funding supported the purchase of uniforms and equipment utilized by the police volunteers.
