In brief: Cutler set for Hawks, report says

NFL: The NFL Network reported that Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is scheduled to start against Seattle on Sunday, two weeks after suffering a concussion.

The Bears refused to confirm Tuesday’s report by the NFL Network, which cited a league source it did not identify.

Cutler was injured during a loss to the New York Giants.

Coach Lovie Smith said Monday he was “hopeful” that Cutler would play.

The Bears beat Carolina last weekend, but backup Todd Collins threw four interceptions before getting benched.
