LifePrint child safety event Saturday at dental office

NEVADA/LIDGERWOOD – Slack and Combs Orthodontics, 605 E. Holland Ave., will have a DNA LifePrint Child Safety event, on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The national child identification program, including biometric fingerprinting and DNA identification kit, will give parents the opportunity to have their children’s fingerprints submitted to the FBI database, if they were to be reported missing. With the program, the child’s fingerprints would immediately be available to all law enforcement agencies throughout the United States.

All items for the child safety program are free.

Children can participate in face painting and games. Raffles will also be included in the day-long program.
