Running out of time

As a young professional in Spokane, I am deeply concerned about our nation’s debt crisis. Unless our leaders in Congress are courageous enough to get our national debt under control, my future and the America I want to raise my future children in is in jeopardy.

More than 200 years ago, Ben Franklin said, “When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.”

Today, our nation is at a crossroads. Leaders like Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, who is pushing for the right solution and responsible direction for our country, deserve our support.

We don’t have a lot of time left to solve this problem, and I fear the consequences if we don’t.
