New Faces

Windermere Real Estate/Valley Inc. has hired Kristi Keruta as a sales associate for the company’s Spokane Valley office. She previously worked for Coldwell Banker Tomlinson Valley and holds a Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource designation.

The company has also hired Bill White as a sales associate for its Liberty Lake office. White previously worked for Re/Max of Spokane.

Michael Whitmore has been hired as a tax manager for BDO USA, LLP’s Spokane office. He has six years of public accounting experience and previously worked for Moss Adams, LLP in Spokane.

Spokane County Medical Society has hired Lee Taylor as Project Access director. He has extensive business development, marketing and leadership experience, and holds a bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Fordham University. Julie Van Wormer has been hired as a business development specialist for ALSC Architects. She previously worked for a local engineering firm and has more than 20 years of marketing and business development experience.

Keller Williams Realty has hired Justin Asher and Patrick Galles as agents. Asher, who previously worked for Asher Associate Brokers, has been hired to work for the company’s Spokane office. Galles will work for the company’s Coeur d’Alene and Spokane offices.

Allyson Shoshana has been hired as communications officer for Design Spike Inc. She previously worked for Spokane Civic Theatre and has more than 20 years of sales, public relations and marketing experience.

Appointed

Gov. Chris Gregoire appointed Stephen Shrope to serve a five-year term on the Washington State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Shrope is a senior project manager for Womer and Associates, Spokane.

Dennis Clark has been appointed vice president of client solutions for Aftersoft Network N.A.’s Western sales office in Spokane. He has 34 years of related experience.

The Institute of Real Estate Management presented Patrick O’Rourke with a Certified Property Manager designation. O’Rourke is vice president of First Pacific Properties Inc. and managing broker of O’Rourke Realty Inc.

Meadow Ranch, adult community in Coeur d’Alene, received a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Neighborhood Development (LEED-ND) Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Gifts

Numerica Credit Union employees donated $23,000 to Cancer Patient Care organizations serving Spokane, Moses Lake and North Idaho. The funds were raised during the credit union’s annual benefit auction.
