Pullman nets GNL victory over ML
Austin Drake hit 3 of 8 from the 3-point line and finished with a game-high 18 points as Great Northern League front-runner Pullman (10-1, 4-0) used a 12-6 run in the fourth quarter to beat visiting Medical Lake (7-5, 1-3) 39-32 in action Tuesday.
Tyler Langerveld added eight points and five rebounds for the Greyhounds, who had their 10-point halftime lead cut to three after the third quarter. The Cardinals were led by 12 points from Kevin Fisher.
West Valley 59, Deer Park 31: Brady Bagby scored 11 of his 16 points in the first half, Rakeem Shields added eight points and nine rebounds and the Eagles (8-2, 2-1) capitalized on a slow start by the visiting Stags (4-8, 0-4) to take a 17-2 lead after the first quarter. Jeno Martin had 10 points for the Eagles, who extended the lead to 21 by halftime.
Clarkston 61, Cheney 47: Tommy Sperry dominated in the paint, scoring 19 points for the visiting Bantams (9-1, 3-0), and the Blackhawks (6-5, 0-3) committed 17 first-half turnovers, digging themselves into a 22-point deficit by halftime. C.J. Skillingstad had 13 points for Cheney, which cut the lead to 10, but could get no closer.

Post Falls 75, Lake City 61: Michael Hillman hit six 3-pointers and tallied a team-high 19 points, Connor Hill added 17 points and the Trojans (10-1, 1-1) rebounded from their first loss of the season with a convincing victory over the visiting Timberwolves (10-3, 1-1) in IEL 5A action. Mark Smyly led LC with 27 points, but they could not keep pace with the Trojans, who outscored LC 35-23 in the second half.

Lakeside 64, Colville 43: Demetrius Watson finished with 23 points, hitting 5 of 7 shots from the 3-point line, and the host Eagles (6-7, 2-1) tallied 39 points in the second half to pull away from the Indians (5-7, 0-3) in Nine Mile Falls. Ryan Gunderson added 18 points and 18 rebounds for the Eagles, while Matt Hubbard led the Indians with 16 points.
Newport 71, Chewelah 64: Jake Wiley’s 23 points and 14 rebounds paced the Grizzlies (8-5, 2-1) against the visiting Cougars (4-9, 0-3). Spenser Douglas added 15 points for the Grizzlies, who outscored the Cougars 19-8 in the third quarter to pull away for good.
Freeman 46, Riverside 43: Cody Unfred finished with 22 points and five rebounds and the Scotties (7-6, 3-0) toppled the visiting Rams (6-6, 2-1) to take sole possession of first place. Mitch Vander Linden added 12 points for the Scotties.
Bi-County 2B
Liberty 60, Springdale 51: Terry Viele and Eric Hammond combined for 28 points and the Lancers (3-9, 2-6) shot 11 of 15 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter to hold off the host Chargers (3-7, 1-6). UConn Peone and Rodney Abrahamson each had 16 points for the Chargers.
Davenport 68, Kettle Falls 48: The Gorillas (6-4, 3-3) were led by 11 points from Matt Rosman and 10 points from Cole Evers in their win over the visiting Bulldogs (1-11, 0-8). The Gorillas held KF to just one point in the opening quarter, building a 21-point lead.
Northwest Christian 66, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 39: Cole Ramey had 15 points, Kwinn Hanson added 13 points and the visiting Crusaders (9-1, 6-0) had four players score in double figures to beat the Broncos (7-4, 4-3).

Wellpinit 72, Columbia 35: Kennedy Seyler scored 23 points, Brodie Ford added 10 points and the Redskins (10-4, 6-1) outscored the host Lions (1-12, 1-6) 66-22 through the first three quarters in Hunters. Dominick Marquez led the Lions with13 points.
Cusick 60, Selkirk 47: Tyler Edwards finished with 22 points, Ryan Sample added 13 points and the Panthers (7-4, 5-0) jumped out to a 32-10 lead at halftime and held on to beat the visiting Rangers (4-8, 3-4). Johnny Andrews added nine points and eight rebounds for the Panthers, while Avery Miller had 16 points to lead the Rangers.
Northport 53, Inchelium 37: Michal Marko and Adrian Konkler each tallied 12 points and the Mustangs (7-5, 4-3) forced 25 turnovers by the visiting Hornets (2-7, 1-5) to earn the win.

LaCrosse-Washtucna 57, Touchet 54: Jeff Zimmer scored 10 of his 17 points in the third quarter and the host Tigercats (6-5, 3-3) outlasted the Indians (3-6, 1-5) with a 24-10 run in the third quarter.

Republic 57, Curlew 40: Clay Anderson tallied a game-high 18 points, Mike Slagle added 14 points and the Tigers (3-10) outscored the host Cougars (6-5) 31-18 after the break to pull away. Jamie Zerck led the Cougars with 14 points.
St. John-Endicott 70, Odessa-Harrington 61: Mason Van Lith hit 8 of 11 shots from the floor and finished with a game-high 26 points and the visiting Eagles (4-7) outscored the Titans (3-10) 36-26 in the second half after trailing by one at the break. Justin Hunt finished with 25 points to lead the Titans.
Wilbur-Creston 47, Wilson Creek 36: Dakota Berg led all scorers with 13 points and Josh Tonasket added seven points and 12 rebounds as the Wildcats (8-2) used a 32-18 edge in the first half to beat the visiting Devils.
Tekoa-Oakesdale 61, Dayton 48: Joseph Tamain hit four 3-pointers and scored 19 points to lead the Nighthawks (3-8) to the win over the visiting Bulldogs.
