School work overdue

I’ve lived a majority of my life in Central Valley School District. Now that I am a parent and have three kids in school in CVSD, one of my main concerns is the safety and the education of my children.

CVSD has a construction bond on the next voting ballot. I urge everyone to register and vote yes on this bond. The bond is to modernize aging schools that have been in need of work for many years. Some have been neglected to the point of having structural needs, and the overcrowding has started to affect schools in Liberty Lake.

Over the years we have asked the teachers to teach our children under unreasonable circumstances that would overwhelm anyone, with overactive kids, to continually growing class attendance. By voting yes on the bond you will allow needed maintenance and updating along with the need of new school expansions to finally be done.

Do not let this opportunity pass us by. I urge all who live in the Central Valley School District to vote on this bond for the health, safety, education and future of our children.
