Pac-10 roundup: UCLA rallies to top Stanford

Malcolm Lee scored 23 points and UCLA overcame a 14-point first-half deficit to beat Stanford 68-57 Saturday in Los Angeles for its fourth straight victory.

Lazeric Jones added 17 points, Tyler Honeycutt scored 16 points and Reeves Nelson had 10 rebounds for the Bruins (13-6, 5-2 Pac-10), who have won 10 of 12 overall and nine of their last 11 against Stanford.

Josh Owens had 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Jeremy Green added 12 points for the Cardinal (10-8, 3-4), who haven’t beaten either of the Los Angeles schools on the road since 2005. Stanford lost 65-42 at Southern California on Thursday.

Stanford has lost three in a row and four of five.

Oregon 63, Oregon State 59: E.J. Singler had 16 points and Jay-R Strowbridge scored 13 of his 15 points in the second half as the Ducks beat the Beavers in Corvallis, Ore.

Strowbridge made two free throws with 8 seconds remaining to seal the win for Oregon (9-10, 2-5 Pac-10), which outscored Oregon State (8-10, 3-4) 11-4 during a four-minute stretch late in the game.

Lathen Wallace had 15 points and Roberto Nelson 11 for the Beavers.

Cal 68, USC 66: Harper Kamp scored 19 points, including 10 of California’s final 18, and the Golden Bears rallied to hold off the Trojans.

Mark Sanders-Frison grabbed an offensive rebound and scored, tying the game at 54 with 6:06 to play. From there, the Bears (10-9, 3-4) outscored the Trojans 16-12 to close out just their second win in five Pac-10 road games this season.

Donte Smith scored a career-high 24 points, including eight 3-pointers, for the Trojans (11-9, 3-4).
