Cheney man killed on highway at Four Lakes

A 62-year-old Cheney man was killed on Sunday evening in an accident that Washington State Patrol troopers said was related to bad weather. Petrick P. Rogers was crossing state Highway 904 at Four Lakes when he was struck in the eastbound lane by a 1992 Ford Explorer driven by Chase A. Walter, 16, of Spokane. Rogers died at the scene of the 8 p.m. accident, troopers said. It had been raining on Sunday evening.
