Marquee players: Sophomore Katie Baker (Lake City, Coeur d’Alene) started Montana’s first 19 games before suffering an emergency appendectomy. She’s come off the bench the last nine games. Named first-team All-Big Sky, Baker averages team-leading 11.9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Senior Stephanie Stender was named MVP when Montana upset Portland State 62-58 to win the Big Sky Conference tournament.
