Zip Trip clerk robbed at gunpoint

A clerk at a Zip Trip store at 2005 N. Hamilton St. was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday. The clerk handed over a cash drawer and the robber took the money from the drawer before fleeing on foot about 7:45 p.m. Officers brought a K-9 to the incident, but an attempt to track the robber was not successful. The robber was described as white, skinny and wearing a green plaid hooded jacket. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
