Police blotter

Kootenai County sheriff

Alan Hern, Spokane, reported Friday the $325 theft of timber from property on the 2200 block of West Valley Cliff Road in Coeur d’Alene.

Edward Lynam, employee of Avondale Golf and Tennis Club, reported Saturday $1,450 damage to a granite statue, tree and four fire extinguishers at the business at 10745 N. Avondale Loop in Hayden.

Ashley Fortine, Athol, reported Saturday the $400 theft of a chain saw from her home on the 11000 block of East Nunn Road.

Gary Scott, Post Falls, reported Saturday the $1,175 theft of furniture and fixtures from his shop on the 12000 block of West Prairie Avenue in Post Falls.

Joahannes Herzog, Spokane, reported Sunday the $2,040 theft of tools and an air compressor and $25 damage to a door of a home on the 10000 block of West Spirit Lake Road in Spirit Lake.
