Decomposed body found in Peaceful Valley
Sat., May 28, 2011
A badly decomposed human body was found in Peaceful Valley Friday evening, and police are investigating today.
The body was discovered in a heavily wooded site by neighbors, according to a Spokane Police Department news release. They had “complained of a foul odor nearby” and found the body at about 7 p.m., the release said.
The body was taken to Holy Family Hospital Friday night. Detectives secured the scene last night due to poor lighting and weather, and are conducting a death investigation today, the release said.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
