Permit number wrong

The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest sold nearly 6,300 Christmas tree permits last year; a higher number was listed in a story Thursday, due to incorrect information provided by a source.

Settlement amount incorrect

A $687,000 settlement with developers of the Green Bluff Square strip mall will cost Spokane County $500,000. A story Thursday misstated the portion not covered by insurance due to incorrect information provided to the newspaper.

1183 would raise funds through fees

Initiative 1183 would raise money for state and local governments through license fees based on a percentage of wholesale and retail liquor sales. A story Thursday incorrectly described that system and misquoted a spokeswoman for the campaign.
