Kootenai County sheriff

Alexandra Coon, Rathdrum, reported Wednesday the $2,000 theft of tools and $100 damage to a door of a home on the 1700 block of East Dodd Road in Hayden.

Thomas McVay, owner of Clearwater Springs, reported Wednesday the $500 theft of a utility trailer and tools from the business at 10356 N. Taryne St. in Hayden.

Brandon Bowman, Post Falls, reported Nov. 9 the $1,000 theft of a handgun and stereo and $400 damage to a window of a home on the 3500 block of East Marina Vista Court.
