Moore blames Kramer’s words

College football: Former Idaho State running back and return specialist Tavoy Moore said he was dismissed from the football team for complaining that coach Mike Kramer (pictured above) publicly criticizes players.

“It just happened so fast,” Moore said. Kramer “was saying that if anybody dropped a pass or did something wrong, they would have to get off the field. On a kick return, I dropped the ball. I went off the field, but then he told me to get in the locker room. … I was saying that I can’t play for someone like him. The way he throws his players under the bus – you’ve seen it in the media.”

After Saturday’s 33-0 home loss to Montana, Kramer criticized Moore, saying in part, “our debonair tailback, who’s supposed to be a really good player, frizzled and melted himself off the field today.”

Angle measures Olympic bid

Wrestling: Kurt Angle believes the time is right to swap that big gold TNA Wrestling championship belt around his waist for another shiny gold medal around his neck.

Creeping up on 43, Angle is serious about becoming an Olympic wrestler for the second time. The 1996 220-pound freestyle wrestling gold medal winner in the Atlanta Games has scaled back his professional commitments for TNA and dedicated the last seven months to training for a run at making the U.S. team for next summer’s London Olympics.
