T.O. workout draws cameras, no teams

Terrell Owens’ workout was watched by two television networks but no NFL teams.

The 37-year-old free-agent wide receiver participated in some drills and caught passes Tuesday outside Los Angeles in a showcase televised by ESPN and NFL Network. He told ESPN “I definitely feel there are some teams out there that are interested.”

Owens has been rehabilitating a left knee injury that required surgery. He played 14 games for Cincinnati last year.

Colts put Collins on IR

Two months after signing with the Colts, 17-year veteran Kerry Collins was placed on injured reserve with a concussion – a move that will end his season, and possibly his NFL career.

Collins announced in July he was retiring, then was wooed out of retirement with a $4 million deal to be Peyton Manning’s backup.

But when Manning had another neck surgery in early September, Collins was suddenly promoted to starter. He started three games for the Colts.

Vikings suspend Cook after domestic assault arrest

Vikings cornerback Chris Cook has been suspended indefinitely by the Vikings without pay, following a felony charge for allegedly strangling his girlfriend.

Cook was charged earlier in the day with felony domestic assault by strangulation, which carries a penalty of up to three years in prison and a $5,000 fine. He was released on $40,000 bail Tuesday as well after spending the past three days in jail following the arrest at his suburban home.

Cook has a court appearance set for this afternoon.

Losman, who last completed a pass in 2008. Rosenfels is suffering from a blood disorder. … The Falcons placed fullback Ovie Mughelli (knee) and offensive guard Mike Johnson (foot) on injured reserve.
