Column included errors
Some hospitals in the Shriners hospital network perform cleft lip or palate surgeries, although the Spokane Shriners Hospital does not yet provide that service. In addition, Down syndrome is the most common birth defect in the country. That information was incorrect in Shawn Vestal’s column Wednesday because of reporting errors.
