Sept. 11 Events – 6:40 a.m. Spokane Valley Fire Department will place a beam from the World Trade Center in front of the new Fire Station 8 at 2110 N. Wilbur Road. 891-8659. At 1:30 p.m. will be a Patriots Day memorial ceremony inside the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center during the Interstate Fair, 404 N. Havana St., which will conclude in the grandstands for the memorial ceremony.
