Was born June 19, 1928 in Wallace, Idaho to Thomas Spencer Cooper and Helen Marie Nordquist Cooper.
She passed on to her Lord and Savior, April 7, 2012, in Spokane Valley, Washing-ton.
June was 83 years young.
The Cooper family moved to Alberton, Montana, she graduated from Alberton High School in 1946 as valedictorian.
June attended beauty school in Missoula, Montana.
She married Norman Gilbert Bestwick of Alberton, Montana on March 3, 1949.
They spent most of their married life in Spokane Valley.
School District 81 employed June as a food service worker.
She demonstrated food samples at grocery stores.
She and Norm loved to travel with Elder Hostels.
They attended railroad retirement dinners and picnics.
Bloomsday was a spring highlight to June.
She was active in TOPS.
June is survived by her husband of 63 years, Norman Bestwick, of Spokane Valley, WA; daughters Susan (Roger) Marie Gimmestad, of Twisp, WA and Bonnie (Ronald) Rae Severtsen, of Richland, WA; sister, Dolores (Dale) Helen Wilcox, of Spokane Valley, WA; sister-in-law, Suzanne Louise McMurry Cooper of Opportunity, WA; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; Karen Marie Wilcox, a niece, and special blessing to her.
June is preceded in death by her parents and younger brother Gary Thomas Cooper.

June’s ashes will be at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens also known as: Restlawn Cemetery.
