FOURNIER, Anna E. (Weitz)
July 15, 1916 - April 8, 2012 (Age 95)
Passed away on the morning of Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012, in Spokane, WA.
She was born on July, 15, 1916 in Endicott, WA to John and Cathryn (Heltzer) Weitz and attended schools in Endicott and Rosalia, WA.
In 1936, she married Theodore R. Fournier, Sr. of Thornton, WA and helped raise his six children.
She enjoyed farm work, her garden and flowers, family gatherings, and being in the Fortnightly Club.
When the farm was sold in 1957, they moved to Spokane, WA where she managed an apartment complex for many years and provided in-home care for people.
She continued gardening, still found time to can fruits and vegetables, was a splendid cook and loved entertaining.
As a member of the Order of the Moose, she enjoyed working on the organization’s projects.
Anna is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Theodore Sr. (1986), her two children Donald Fournier and Dorea Morrison (1987), and three of her stepchildren, Norman (1956), Alfred (1998) and Theodore Jr. (2007).
She is also preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings, Virginia, Helen, Ruth, Ruby, Richard, Joseph and Otto.
She is survived by three stepchildren, Evelyn Fernandes (Homosassa, FL), Arthur (Spokane, WA), and Ralph (San Antonio, TX).
She is also survived by two grandchildren, three great-grandsons, many step-grandchildren/great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will truly be missed by those whose lives she touched and the many who knew and loved her.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, April 27, 2012, 11:00am, at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 North Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA.
Interment will be in Thornton Cemetery (Thornton, WA).
