Frank D.
( Age 86)

Passed away April 23, 2012 in Spokane Valley, WA.

He was born January 26, 1926 in Spokane, WA to Louis and Anna Gleason.

Frank grew up on his family’s farm in Spangle, WA and was drafted into the U.S. Army during WWII.

He
married Rita Conway on June 18, 1949 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Spokane.

Frank was employed in construction, working on many buildings and projects all throughout the Spokane area.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, shooting pool, Gonzaga basketball, Mariners baseball, music, dancing and card games, especially cribbage.

He loved his dogs and was never without owning one.

Frank was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church since 1957.

He is survived by his children, Virginia Williams of Spokane Valley, Joanne (Karen Mork) Richardson of Ford, WA, Daniel (William Collins) Gleason of Savannah, GA and Louis Gleason of Spokane; four grandkids, James (Heidi) Williams, April (Daniel) Williams, Anne (Jeremy) Nord and Robert (Jessica) Williams; two great-grandkids, Carter and Colton Williams; sister-in-law, Rachel Hollis Gleason as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Rita Gleason; brother, Edward and four sisters, Laura, Irene, Marie and Lois.

A Vigil Service will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 at 5 PM and Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 10 AM, both at St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
