Neighborhood notes

• The Minnehaha Neighborhood Council will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. for the annual Night Out Against Crime event at Cooper Elementary School, 3200 N. Ferrall St.

• The Southgate Neighborhood Council will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Educational Service District 101, 4202 S. Regal St.

• The West Central Neighborhood Council will meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the West Central Community Center, 1603 N. Belt St.

• The Nevada/Lidgerwood Neighborhood Council will meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Neva-Wood COPS Shop, 4707 N. Addison St.

• The Emerson/Garfield Neighborhood Council will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Corbin Senior Activity Center, 827 W. Cleveland Ave.

• The North Hill Neighborhood Council will have its annual picnic Aug. 9 at 6 p.m. at Clark Park, 3922 N. Normandie St.
