Born June 22, 1911 in New Salem, North Dakota.
Florence passed away peacefully at Judson Park Health Center in Des Moines, WA on July 27th 2012 at 101 years of age.
She was very active with the Liberty Park Methodist Church for many years in Spokane.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Aaron (Happy) Hood and son Vernon L. Hood.
She is survived by sons Willard Hood of Normandy Park, WA, Roger Hood of Kent, WA, and Gordon Hood of Colville, WA.
Also eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one great- great-grandson.
She will be interred at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
