(Age 71)

Of Spokane, Washington died peacefully in his sleep Monday, July 23, 2012 in the comforts of his home.

Don’s wish was to be cremated and his ashes spread over the Gospel Mountains in Idaho, to be reunited with his parents and his most favorite pet he ever had, Rambo.

A memorial service will be held at his daughter April’s home, 15307 N. Wilson Ct. Mead, WA 99021 on Saturday, August 11th at 2:00pm, with a reception to follow.

Don was born in Sebeka, MN on January 11th, 1941.

He moved west with his family in the late 40s and settled in Grangeville, ID.

After graduating from Grangeville High School in 1959, Don joined the Army before permanently establishing residence in Spokane, WA.

Don worked as a glazier and was known throughout the industry as an innovator, hard worker, and a stickler for detail.

Don enjoyed staying busy.

In his younger years, his passion for aviation led him to obtain his pilot’s license.

Don was also well known in every neighborhood; he lived in for his meticulous and beautifully kept yards.

Don loved helping his kids and grandkids with any kind of project they had and he did so with pride and immense joy.

Don is survived by his children; Aaron Junes, Ryan Junes, April Harley, and Carol Covell, and his seven grandkids; Jacob, Lily, Gabrielle, Kylee, Dylan, Emili, and Jessica.

In lieu of flowers, Don would much appreciate a contribution to the Romney 2012 campaign.
