Matthew James Porterfield was born October 30th, 1971 and passed away August 12th, 2012.

Matt is survived by parents, Rick and Deanna Simmons; daughter, Jessica and her mother, Lisa; brothers Marc (Julie) Porterfield, Michael Simmons, and sister Mindy (Preston) Simmons;
grandmother Eldora and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins on the Porterfield, Simmons and Kirby sides.

The greatest legacy that Matt leaves behind is his beautiful daughter Jessica and because of that the family has set up the Jessica Rienne Porterfield Donation Fund through any Wells Fargo.

We take comfort in knowing grandma Kirby cradles you in her arms in heaven.
