Obituary: Marlow, Bradley Alan

Age 50

MARLOW, Bradley Alan (Age 50) Longtime resident of Rockford, Washington passed away on November 29, 2012 at his home.

He was born January 12, 1962 in Spokane to Jerry and Marilyn (Boy) Marlow.

At an early age, Brad developed a strong interest in agriculture by spending time with his cousin, Randy Emtman, on his uncle’s farm.

His family moved to Auburn, WA when Brad was in 8th grade, where he later graduated from Auburn High School.

After high school, Brad attended and graduated from WSU where he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity.

Brad felt at home in Eastern Washington.

Shortly after graduation, he had the opportunity to farm and moved to Rockford to begin his career in agriculture.

He was a dedicated volunteer of the Rockford Fire Department and was the Fire Chief at the time of his passing.

Brad, though a bit shy, was a people person at heart and he truly loved all the people in his life, family or friend.

He had many of both.

He is survived by his wife, Deb Marlow of Rockford, WA; children, Rachel Marlow, Ashley Marlow, Kayla and husband, Quinn Hoener all of Spokane, WA; stepchildren, Jason Pestana, Christopher Pestana, Robert and wife, Nicole Thies all of Fairfield, WA; parents, Jerry and Marilyn Marlow of Post Falls, ID; grandmother, Vera Boy of Spokane, WA; brothers, Brian Marlow of Tacoma, WA and Barry and wife, Lonni Marlow of Sammamish, WA; niece, Madison Marlow of Tacoma, WA; and four stepgrandchildren, Sean, Mekenzie, Jaymes and Mason of Fairfield, WA; uncles, aunts and numerous cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7, at Rockford Fire Station District #11.

Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Rockford, WA.

A reception will follow the burial at the Fire Station.
