Passed away in her home on January 27, 2012.
Marvella was born to Ralph and Easter Johnston in Biggar, Saskatchewan,
Canada on May 18, 1927.
She is survived by her son, Donald L. Earney (Leslie); daughter-in-law, Pamela Earney; grandchildren, Kim Hunter (Derek), Chris Earney and Jamie Earney all of Spokane, WA, Kelsey Earney of Pullman, WA, Tammy Douglas of Tempe, AZ, Traci Cairns (Steve) of Glendale, AZ, Michelle Fielding (Michael) of Surprise, AZ; five great grandchildren, Ali, Stevi and Haili Cairns, Ian and Maci Fielding; sister-in-law, Beverly Mahrt; nieces, Shirley Mae Bischoff, Peggy Lou Mahrt, Deena Stalcup; and nephew, Tom Mahrt.
Among many, she loved cousins and friends that were extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, J. Harold Earney and her son, Eric M. Earney.
She was a member of the PTA at Willard Elementary School and assistant leader of Webelos Boy Scouts for nine years.
She enjoyed reading, swimming, arts and crafts, and loved to visit with friends and family.
She was a homemaker of the traditional sort.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME.
Memorial Services will be scheduled at a later date.
