Obituary: Kilgore, Leslie Arthur
Age 76
September 28, 1935-January 31, 2012
Leslie Arthur Kilgore was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Leslie Kilgore and Christine Welcher Kilgore.
After graduation from high school, he entered the Army serving in the Korean War.
He then transferred to the Navy to serve during the Vietnam War.
He retired from Navy Service in 1989.
He is survived by his daughters Kathleen Pickering, Susan Reeves, Carol Kilgore and Shelley Kilgore all of Spokane; his sons, Paul Kilgore, Montgomery, LA and William Kilgore, Spokane; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Karen L. (Cooper) Kilgore.
Private visitation will be Monday, February 6 from 12:00 to 5:00pm at the funeral home, with the Vigil Service following at 5:00pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at Mary Queen Catholic Church, 3423 E. Carlisle, Spokane, Tuesday, February 7 at 11:00am.
Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
