Passed away at the Spokane Veterans Affairs Medical Center on Sunday, February 5, 2012.

Raymond was born July 2, 1932, in San Diego, CA, to Clyde and Florence (McPherson) Johnson.

He was a loving husband, father, and friend, and he will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ellen (Gustafson) Johnson; son, Brian (Kitty) Johnson; daughter, Gayle (Randy) Russell, all of Spokane; son, Brad (Teri) Johnson of Tucson, AZ; son, Craig (Vicki) Johnson of Sandpoint, ID; ten grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Raymond will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012, at 10 AM, in the Alwin Chapel of HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME, 1306 N. Monroe St., Spokane.
