Dale Edward Bess, 54, of Cheney, WA passed away on February 7, 2012 of a lengthy illness.

Dale was born in Vallejo, CA in 1957 to Earl and Anita Bess.

He was married to his high school sweetheart, Shirley Whitehurst, for the past 35 years.

Dale and his family lived in Napa until moving to Cheney, WA in 2005.

He is survived by his wife Shirley, son Jonathan and daughter-in-law Melanie, grandson Owen; daughter Michelle and granddaughter Janessa; sister Earlene Thorne; brother Darryl, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dale was very active in his church in Spokane and Napa.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and would help anyone in need.

He inspired so many and will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 10th at 5pm at the South Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church in Spokane WA on 57th & Freya.
