In Memory Of…
Our loving mother, Renee Carlson passed away on February 14, 2012. she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Russell Carlson.
She is survived by her two daughters, Joy McCarthy and her husband Dick, Cheryle Cerenzia and her husband Rich and her son, Rod Carlson and his wife Kathi.
She had seven grandchildren and ten great-grand- children.
Mother’s greatest joy in life was caring for her grandchildren.
She was an avid reader and her interests included golf, playing pinochle and teaching Sunday School.
She did volunteer work at the V. A.
Hospital and elementary schools where she assisted with special needs children.
She received her Associate Arts degree from Wenatchee Valley College.
It has been said that “she always handled whatever she encountered with grace…and was a true Southern Lady.”
Our family would like to express a very heartfelt thank you to all of the staff at the Avalon Care Center in Spokane for all of the compassionate care given to our mother.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
