Kennel Club absent

We took three of our granddaughters to the Feb. 4 Gonzaga University women’s basketball game against San Diego. The band, cheerleaders and dance team performed, but the Kennel Club was absent. We have had men’s season basketball tickets since 1969. As alumni, we’ve have watched the sports programs and the Kennel Club evolve.

Now, we have a GU women’s basketball team that is ranked (in the top 25), is in line for its eighth consecutive WCC title and last year made it to the Elite Eight. The Kennel Club is made up of male and female students, so why are they not at the women’s games? 

The women deserve the support the same as the men.
