Man stabbed on East Sprague early today

A stabbing near East Sprague Avenue and North Altamont Street this morning may be related to prostitution or drugs, Spokane police say. A man is in stable condition at a hospital after police were called to the area for a report of a gunshot, according to KHQ. They didn’t find a gunshot victim, but they did find a drunk man with a stab wound to his stomach. A police dog tried to track the assailant, who is believed to be a woman, but was unsuccessful.
